Terms of Service
Last updated: May 5, 2026
1. Agreement
By using edit-pdf.org (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
edit-pdf.org is a browser-based PDF editor. It runs in your browser and lets you edit, annotate, sign, and fill PDF documents. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process documents you do not have permission to modify.
- Forge documents, falsify signatures, or commit fraud of any kind.
- Distribute malware or attempt to attack our infrastructure.
- Violate any applicable law.
You are solely responsible for the documents you process and the edits you make to them.
4. Free and Pro tiers
The free tier permits one PDF edit per day. A paid Pro tier may be offered with higher limits and additional features. Pricing, limits, and features may change; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes to paying users.
5. Privacy
Your files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers, except for OCR on scanned PDFs. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to the documents you edit. We make no claim of ownership over your content. The Service software, design, and branding remain the property of edit-pdf.org.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the edited output will be suitable for any particular purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, edit-pdf.org is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the prior twelve months.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
